LOCKPORT – A man charged with selling the narcotic prescription pain medicine Suboxone out of his home in 2011 was sentenced Tuesday to five years probation.
Aaron L. Wagner, 28, of Autumnview Drive pleaded guilty June 12 in Niagara County Court to a reduced charge of attempted fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He originally had been charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling Suboxone to a confidential informant out of his Wilson home and at another Wilson site on Sept. 20 and 21, 2011.
Niagara County Court Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas gave Wagner high marks for enrolling in a treatment program and making positive changes in his life.
“I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time,” Wagner told Farkas.
