Southeast Works, a Depew services provider to disabled individuals, appointed Timothy Pfohl executive director. Pfohl, previously the director of program services at Suburban Adult Services, has more than 27 years of experience in provision and administration of services for individuals with disabilities. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo.
Clinton Brown Company Architecture named Lindsay Brownschidle an architect at its Buffalo office. Brownschidle recently returned to Buffalo after five years in Rochester, working on a variety of commercial architecture projects throughout New York State. A University of Notre Dame graduate, she earned her MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Rybarczyk, a civil and environmental engineer, is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and earned his master’s degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Independent Health appointed Gary Cohn director, vendor management. Cohn was assistant vice president, strategic sourcing at M&T Bank. He is a University at Buffalo graduate.
Chiampou Travis Besaw and Kershner, an Amherst accounting firm, named Linda Mauro tax manager. Mauro, a CPA, is a Niagara University graduated. Previously associated with another local CPA firm, she has extensive tax experience in business and individual taxes along with experience with NYS empire zone credits.
The Buffalo Niagara Builders Association elected Chris Tucker president of the organization. Tucker, who had nearly 40 years industry experience, is a partner at J.J. Peterson/Tucker Homes. He graduated from Erie Community College.
Alliance Advisory Group named Sarah Pollinger a financial representative. Previously, Pollinger served as the grant research manager for the Buffalo City Mission. She holds her MBA from Medaille College and her bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo. Pollinger is a financial representative of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.
