We won’t ban weapons so let’s regulate ammo

The governments, state or federal, will never be able to ban semiautomatic weapons. But they can pass a law making it a felony, as they have done in regard to silencers and unregistered automatic weapons, to possess a firearm capable of firing more than six shots without reloading. This means box magazines cut off and tubular magazines permanently plugged. I have 33 years in law enforcement, have competed with both pistol and rifle, and am a life member of the National Rifle Association. As a former hunter, I found that if I couldn’t hit what I was shooting at with a five-round magazine, I was wasting my time and ammunition.
