Books that were collected by the congregation of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Clarence will be blessed at 10 a.m. Sunday before being taken to School 6 in Buffalo to be shared with students.

The congregation has been collecting books through the Advent and Christmas seasons, with the goal of acquiring a new book for every student at School 6, an elementary school off Niagara and School streets in the city.

“It has been wonderful to watch the piles of books grow,” said the Rev. Vicki Zust, St. Paul’s pastor. “This is truly what the spirit of Christmas is all about.”

St. Paul’s also has collected school supplies for students at School 6 for several years.
