Saturday, 2 p.m.: Lecture/Discussion: “Alternative Press” with Artvoice editor Geoff Kelly and Ed Cardoni, executive director of Hallwalls and co-curator of the current Burchfield Penney Art Center retrospective on the work of underground comics artist Manuel “Spain” Rodriguez. Saturday, 4 p.m.: Steve McCaffery, director of the UB Poetics Program, and Michael Basinski, curator of the UB Poetry Collection, will perform works from “An Exquisite Corpus: Vectors of Visual Poetry,” a brief history of concrete poetry which they curated for the Burchfield Penney Art Center along with Karen Mac Cormack and Page Mein.
