OLAF FUB SEZ: According to singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett, born on this date in 1946, “These changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes,/ Nothing remains quite the same./ Through all of the islands and all of the highlands,/ If we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane.”

The Babe in Bethlehem

Looking back to Bethlehem

I see a gentle child

Within a manger lying –

He is so sweet and mild.

His mother, Mary, is a gem

Chosen by God above

To bring those living on the earth

A measure of pure love.

Shepherds are in nearby field

Keeping watch over their flock by night.

They come to view the precious child

As stars offer their light.

The stars that shone that wondrous night

Still shine in heavens above,

Their twinkling lights remind me of

God’s everlasting love.

Tours are $50, which includes dinner, bus transport, a docent-led tour, entertainment, prizes and giveaways. Space on the buses in limited. For info, call 833-5211 or visit www.forgottenbuffalo.com.
