The Village of Springville plans to renovate 18 buildings in downtown Springville with economic development funding from New York State. The village will receive $250,000 from the second round of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative.
The award will be used for interior and exterior renovations to 26 commercial and 3 residential units, as well as streetscape enhancements.
“We’re very excited about this opportunity to spruce up our Main Street,” Village Administrator Tim Horner said.
The Main Street grant will be used to foster mixed uses on Main Street. It is in addition to the $829,120 awarded to the Springville Center for the Arts to renovate two buildings it owns.
