Three gunmen burst into West Side store and roughed up two people Saturday afternoon, before making off with $1,000.

The robbery happened shortly after 4 p.m. at Amin Corner Store, 380 Connecticut St., Buffalo police said.

The first robber through the door pulled a handgun from his jacket, jumped the counter and demanded money from the register, according to police. When the clerk didn’t react fast enough, the gunman struck the store employee in the head with the gun.

The two other robbers walked to the back of the store, where one of them used his hand to strike another person in the head. The third gunmen ordered the other workers to stay at the back of the store.

All three gunman wore hoodies and scarves to cover their faces, police said.
