Robert Sitter, the Hamilton, Ont. man who was struck by a taxi outside Ralph Wilson Stadium after the Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins Nov. 15 will be returned home after spending more than a month in a Buffalo hospital, according to a CHCH television report in Ontario.
Sitter, 31, who still is unable to talk, is reported to be responsive to family after being brought out of a medically-induced coma.
The Ontario Patient Transfer was expected to return Sitter to Hamilton late this week where he’ll remain hospitalized at Hamilton General Hospital, according to the report.
Sitter was critically injured when he was struck by a car while attempting to cross Southwestern Boulevard.
