The Buffalo Junior Sabres will hold their second annual “Teddy Bear Toss” during tonight’s home game against Toronto at 6:30 p.m. at Northtown Center in Amherst.

Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped teddy bear or other stuffed toy to throw on the ice when Buffalo scores its first goal. All toys collected will be passed out by the Sabres Alumni along with the Buffalo Police to families in need during the holiday season.

The Buffalo Sabres are providing prizes to give away and to raffle off during tonight’s game, while team mascot Sabretooth is scheduled to appear as well.

Fans will also receive a coupon from Theodore’s Red Hots good for one complimentary hot dog with the purchase of a regular hot dog and a large soft drink. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

The Junior Sabres (24-9-2) enter the game having won four of their last five games.
