One of the foremost experts on Buffalo architecture and its history, Martin Wachadlo, will give a talk and a slide show at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Brighton Place Library, 999 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda.

Wachadlo, the author of the book “Oakland Place: Gracious Living in Buffalo,” also has helped write several nominations that have gotten buildings and neighborhoods listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

His talk is free and open to the public.
