Lots of people will be making resolutions as of Jan. 1.
Resolutions to stop smoking. To lose weight. To read more, exercise more, work harder, de-stress a lot more often.
And yet. …
Many of these resolutions will fall apart within the first few weeks.
Which is why, this end-of-year season, we want to hear from men and women from all over Western New York who have had success with making and keeping a New Year’s resolution.
Did you knock off a bad habit that way? Have you gotten rid of pounds, or stress, or addictions, for good? We would like you to share your story and any advice you can share on how you did it.
It doesn’t have to be changing a bad habit: If you have a success story about an untraditional resolution – visiting your parents more often, say, or walking the dog every day – that’s good, too. It’s not just a dieting thing.
Write to us and tell us about what you did right. (It doesn’t have to be long; tips count, too!) Include your name, email address and/or phone number, and where you live.
We may be contacting you for a story that will run in the paper early in the new year, when readers may need a boost to help keep their 2013 resolutions.
