A Blasdell man has pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siracuse to two methamphetamine trafficking charges, U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. reported Tuesday.

Paul S. Griffin, 59, faces a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced March 19.

Prosecutors said Griffin obtained up to 350 grams of the drug from suppliers in the Genesee County area and then distributed it in Erie County between 2006 and 2008.

Griffin’s conviction is the first in a series of cases that stem from an investigation into meth sales that resulted in the arrest last February of members and associates of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang in Rochester and Monterey, Calif.
