Dean Norton, whose family has owned Oak Orchard Dairy in Elba for five generations, has been re-elected to a third two-year term as president of the New York Farm Bureau in balloting at the organization’s annual meeting last week in Albany.

Norton operates the DMCK Cattle Co. with his wife, Melanie. Also an agricultural consultant, he has served nationally on the American Farm Bureau Federation board of directors since 2010.

In races for New York Farm Bureau district directors, Paul Bencal, a Ransomville grape farmer, was re-elected. He has headed the Farm Bureau’s Foundation for Agricultural Education.
