Luke Wiles will be back with the Buffalo Bandits for the 2013 season.

The 30-year-old forward signed a one-year contract with the team on Monday. He joined the Bandits last season and scored a career-high 39 goals to go with 31 assists.

“Luke is an elite offensive player in this league,” Bandits general manager Steve Dietrich said. “He has grown into a team leader whose sole focus is on helping Buffalo win the Champion’s Cup.”

The Bandits also signed transition player Scott Stewart to a one-year contract. He played in 10 games for Colorado last season, scoring six points. Stewart is an 11-year veteran in the National Lacrosse League.

Buffalo will hold an open practice Saturday at the First Niagara Center. It will run from 10 a.m. to noon. After the workout, the team will hold an hour-long autograph session starting at 12:30 p.m. The Bandits will display their new home and road uniforms when they take the field for the practice.
