Buffalo Bills offensive players weren’t the only ones to have a bad day on Sunday. A Rochester man was swept up in a DWI saturation patrol to coincide with the game, state police said.

Troopers based out of Boston, Clarence, Warsaw, and the state Thruway stopped 124 vehicles during the patrol. They investigated four motor vehicle accidents, issued 57 traffic tickets, and arrested one person for unlawful possession of marihuana.

Troopers said they also arrested Darrell Jones, 43, of Rochester, and charged him on the Thruway in Cheektowaga with driving while intoxicated. Jones was stopped for making an unsafe lane change and failing to signal a lane change, and registered a 0.10 percent blood-alcohol content, troopers said.
