SANBORN – Two free, public recitals and one performance for students of music at Niagara County Community College are scheduled within the next few days.

NCCC music students will perform an hour-long recital beginning at 2:30 p.m. today in Room F-112 in the college’s Arts and Media Building, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road. The free, public performance will be conducted by NCCC instructor Lois Hall, and the accompanist will be college instructor Bradley Wingert.

The second free holiday community recital will be presented by NCCC music majors under auspices of the Town of Niagara at 3 p.m. Sunday, hosted by St. Vincent de Paul Parish in St. Leo Catholic Church, 2748 Military Road. Traditional and contemporary vocal literature will be represented with a special performance by NCCC alumna Lisa Surace. This performance will be coordinated by NCCC instructors Hall and Wingert.

Guest music lecturer and classical pianist Frank R. Giuliani-Giancola will present a recital and performance seminar for NCCC music students at 2 p.m. Tuesday on the campus with works by Bach, Liszt and Chopin as well as original compositions.
