Alpha Sigma Tau, Buffalo Alumnae Chapter, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Bellevue Hotel, 544 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga. The cost, $2, includes dessert and coffee or tea. Members are asked to bring a wrapped $5 gift for an exchange. Gloves, mittens, hats and scarves will go to families of patients at Women & Children's Hospital. Hostess Rachael Lis will be assisted by Cassandra Pershyn and Marilyn Todd.

The group's annual Punch Party will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the North Buffalo home of Catherine Gervase. Marilyn Todd will be co-hostess. Those attending are asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre or dessert. The cost is $3 for members and guests. For reservations, call Gervase at 832-8474 by Saturday.

Members also will attend the Dec. 16 matinee performance of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Holiday Pops Concert featuring Ronan Tynan. Dinner will follow at the Grapevine Restaurant. The event chairwoman is Dolores Schmidt.


The Women's Club of Orchard Park will have its annual Christmas luncheon at noon Dec. 12 in LaGalleria restaurant, 3923 Southwestern Blvd. Members are asked to bring mittens, gloves, hats or scarves for donation to Hearts for the Homeless.


Jan Edgerton will be the guest speaker at a luncheon meeting of the Northtowns Christian Women's Connection at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 12 in Classics V, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst. Her talk is titled "The Wonderful Message of Snowflakes." The special feature will be a Christmas gift exchange; bring a gift to share.
