NIAGARA FALLS – The gun violence that injured a 2-year-old girl in the Falls last week erupted again Monday night, with shots fired at a house in the 2400 block of LaSalle Avenue.

No arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, city police launched an investigation into the shots fired as they continue to search for suspects in last Tuesday’s shooting which injured J’raeona Moore, of Niagara Falls. The 2-year-old was shot in the face while sitting in a parked car outside Hometown Grocery. She continues to recover in Women & Children’s Hospital.

Two to three shots were fired shortly before 11 p.m. Monday at the LaSalle Avenue house. Nobody at the house is related to the little girl, investigators said, but is the home of someone associated with the case.

A woman told police that she immediately ducked to the ground when a bullet came flying through the living room window. She said the bullet went past a table where she had been sitting and lodged in a wall in the rear of the home.

Police found a second bullet lodged in a window casing; it had not entered the home.

A man at the house, who had been in the basement, also was uninjured, police said.
