LOCKPORT – A Niagara County Court jury watched Tuesday as prosecutors showed surveillance videos they assert are those of a killer entering and leaving his victim’s apartment.
Defense attorneys deny the man on the tape is Matthew A. Davis, 37, of Niagara Falls. He is on trial in connection with the Aug. 22, 2011, death of Antoine M. Bradberry, 41, in Bradberry’s apartment.
As Detective John Conti narrated, the videos showed a man heading down the second-floor hallway of the Jefferson Apartments on Rainbow Boulevard wearing what appeared to be a white shirt covering much of his head.
Thirteen minutes later, the man emerged wearing a light blue jacket partially obscuring his face and carrying a white bag he didn’t have before. Prosecutors say it contained marijuana allegedly stolen from Bradberry’s apartment.
