Williamsville Central School District residents will have the opportunity to vote on a $16.75 million capital project from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Williamsville North High School, 1595 Hopkins Road.
The capital project includes a variety of districtwide construction projects. Of the total proposition amount, $1.45 million would come from capital reserves. Another $1.8 million would come from budget transfers, and the remaining $13.5 million would be borrowed.
Among the projects that would be covered by the capital project plan: improve the safety of drop off/pick up areas at Maple West Elementary, Transit Middle and South High schools; add up to three additional security cameras in school buildings; replace computer lab air conditioning at the middle schools; partially replace the roof at South High; and renovate bathrooms and replace lockers at East High School.
