Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Rich O’Neil made two drunken driving arrests, one of them a felony, on the same shift Friday night and early Saturday.

The Sheriff’s Office said O’Neil arrested Jason R. Kenyon, 31, of Orlando, Fla., on a misdemeanor driving while intoxicated charge and various traffic infractions, after a one-car crash on Route 16 in Wales about 9:20 p.m. Friday. Kenyon’s blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.15 percent, nearly twice the legal threshold for intoxicated, sheriff’s officials said.

At 4:27 a.m. Saturday, on Clinton Street in Elma, O’Neil pulled over Kevin D. McClintic, 23, of Lancaster, and charged him with felony DWI and traffic infractions. The felony count was filed because McClintic had a DWI conviction in 2009. His BAC was measured at 0.13 percent, O’Neil reported.
