A 32-year-old Clymer woman was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday night in the Town of Clymer, after her car crossed the center line on Route 474 near Bakerink Road and hit another vehicle head-on, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Laura M. Graves was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, as well as third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to keep right after the crash at about 7 p.m.

Graves had two children age 15 or under in her vehicle at time of the crash, sheriff’s deputies said. She was issued tickets and released to a sober family member. The driver of other vehicle was taken to Corry Hospital and released after treatment.

Graves will answer the charges in the Town of Clymer Court at a later date.
