RIPLEY – A Ripley man was picked up on a warrant for allegedly hitting someone with his vehicle, Chautauqua County sheriff’s officials said Saturday.
James M. Harris, 34, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Friday on a second-degree assault charge. The arrest stems from an incident at the Ripley town barns on Nov. 10, when Harris is accused of using his vehicle to hit a transfer station employee, officials said.
Harris was arraigned in Town of Ripley Court. He was released and scheduled to appear back in court at a later date.
