The Western New York Land Conservancy named Kathleen McCormick stewardship director. McCormick previously was a program manager for Keep Western New York Beautiful, a nonprofit that supports grass-roots efforts to clean and naturally beautify our region. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree and hands-on training in landscape design and planning at the Conway School.
