Blue Man Group: Thinking Outside the Box is a free educational program for students in grades nine through 12 to explore performance elements by combining visual, musical and performing arts. The eight-week program will conclude with students presenting their original work at the Shea's Smith Theatre, 660 Main St., on Feb. 5. The students will attend dinner and a performance by Blue Man Group at Shea's Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St., on Feb. 8. CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK
The Alden Christian Theatre Society, 1470 Church St., Alden, will host events throughout the day Saturday as part of Alden's Christmas in the Park. ‘STOP STALKING US'
Students from the Buffalo Urban League have created a video, "Stop Stalking Us," in collaboration with the Erie-Niagara Tobacco-Free Coalition and Erie Niagara Reality Check Program, to educate young people in Western New York about the impact of tobacco marketing practices. *Santa Claus will visit the Wendelville Fire Company, 7340 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday to celebrate with Make-A-Wish Foundation children and their families before he heads over to the Walden Galleria for a 6 p.m. appearance at Macy's. Children of all ages are invited to join Santa at Macy's for a reading of "The Night Before Christmas." Visitors can also put their letters for Santa in Macy's Believe mailbox. For every letter collected, Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
