Lyle Dynes, a graphic designer, died Nov. 7 at his home in Buffalo. He was 50.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Dynes began his career in 1985 as an office manager for Greeff Fabrics in New York City.
From 1987 to 1989, he worked as a graphic designer for Neville Lewis Associates, also in New York.
He traveled throughout Western Europe and studied its arts and culture. While living in New York City, Mr. Dynes created high-fashion designs for women, draping his models in muslin.
From 1999 to 2012, he was employed as the photocopy department manager for Jack W. Hunt & Associates.
Mr. Dynes enjoyed reading Russian and Irish literature.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Diane Schultz; a brother, Robert Schultz; and three sisters, Laurie LaChiusa, Linda Schultz and Anne Stamper.
A private memorial Mass is planned.
