The Jamestown Renaissance Corp. has a new executive director.
Peter A. Lombardi, formerly director of neighborhood initiatives for the agency, has been appointed by the corporation’s board of directors to succeed Jason Stronz, who accepted a post in the private sector.
Lombardi is a Jamestown native who earned his bachelor’s degree at the University at Buffalo and his master’s degree in city and regional planning from Rutgers University. He also is an adjunct assistant professor of urban planning at UB.
The Jamestown Renaissance Corp. is a nonprofit agency dedicated to the renaissance of Jamestown’s downtown corridor and surrounding neighborhoods.
The agency establishes partnerships with the city, local businesses, foundations, community organizations and individuals.
