LOCKPORT – A City of Lockport man pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court Wednesday to an indictment accusing him of raping an unconscious woman last year.
Dalvan H. Robinson, 51, of Pennsylvania Avenue, is charged with first- and third-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse.
The incident with a woman, now 37, allegedly occurred in Lockport July 30, 2011. The woman became alert enough during the incident to identify Robinson, Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth R. Donatello said. Robinson was not arrested until July 5 of this year, as police sought the results of DNA testing.
