Panera Bread will ask for approval of its plans for a new restaurant in the Elmwood Village during what will be a busy Zoning Board of Appeals meeting at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Room 901 of City Hall.
Though the restaurant is taking over an existing structure, at 765 Elmwood Ave., zoning in the district does not allow a floor area of greater than 2,500 square feet.
The board will also review plans for a one-story addition at Nektar restaurant at 451 Elmwood Ave., which will be the new home of Ambrosia, which is moving one-half block south. Nektar will close.
The board will also hear from an Adams Street man who would like to sell firearms out of his home, and about plans for PUSH Buffalo’s west side housing project.
