A Buffalo man struck by gunfire who drove himself to Sisters of Charity Hospital early Thursday died later of his injuries.

Homicide investigators have not released the name of the 24-year-old victim and are trying to determine where he was shot. No arrests have been made.

The man arrived at the hospital in a red Dodge Magnum at about 3:15 a.m. and told staffers he had been shot. He died a short time later.

The victim’s body has been turned over to the Erie County morgue, where an autopsy will be performed.
