Two teens were shot about 1 p.m. today at Doat Street and Sattler Avenue, according to Buffalo police.

Both were taken to ECMC with non-life threatening wounds, said police, who did not release the names or ages of the teens.

A witness said he saw a group of five or six teens walking east on Doat when another group of teens, hiding in the bushes, ambushed the first group.

“A gang of kids just came out of nowhere and started popping off shots,” said the witness, who saw the attack unfold. “This is an everyday thing with these kids. Everyone’s got conflicts with one another.”

The witness said he saw one teen shot in the leg and the other teen suffered a grazing wound to his forehead.

The witness identified one of the gangs as the Bloods and the other as the Locos.
