Tonawanda police have issued a warrant for a town man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Noco gas station on Niagara Falls Boulevard over the weekend.

The suspect was identified as Louis Henhawk, 39. Police released a photo of Henhawk to the media and said the public should consider him armed and dangerous.

Investigators said Henhawk threatened the Noco clerk with a black, semi-automatic handgun Saturday. The clerk handed Henhawk about $100 in cash after which Henhawk fled.

He is now facing charges of first-degree robbery, menacing, larceny and criminal possession of a weapon.

Anyone who has seen Henhawk or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact Tonawanda police at 876-5300 or the confidential tip line at 879-6606.
