Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies charged a Dunkirk man with aggravated driving while intoxicated early today after he was pulled over because his vehicle had only one operable headlight.

Thomas A. Banach, 44, recorded a blood-alcohol content level that exceeded .18 percent, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

He was pulled over on Routes 5 and 20 in the Town of Hanover at about 2 a.m.
