A motorist told police he was pulled out of his red 2013 Toyota Corolla early today when he stopped to refuel at a gas station on the Lower West Side, near the downtown business district, according to a Buffalo police report.

The motorist said he pulled into the station at Niagara and Georgia streets about 4:22 a.m.

A group of men threw him to the side, got into the car and drove off, the victim told officers.

Tools valued at more than $1,000 were in the trunk, the victim told police.
