BATAVIA – An Oakfield woman who was caring for the pets of a Batavia couple while they were out of town is accused of stealing some of their antiques.

Jodi Coe, 36, of Batavia-Oakfield Town Line Road, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny, Genesee County Sheriff’s officials said. Coe is free on her own recognizance pending further Batavia Town Court proceedings at 2 p.m. Dec. 11. Coe is accused of selling the items to a Cheektowaga store, where some of the goods were recovered.
