LOCKPORT – A woman who deposited a forged $4,200 check in a credit union and withdrew the money over the next two days pleaded guilty Thursday in Niagara County Court.

Tonia M. Truscio, 38, of Main Street, Gasport, was living on Scovell Street in Lockport at the time of the fraudulent deposit May 14 at Cornerstone Federal Credit Union on Stevens Street in Lockport.

Truscio, who pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny, said the check was deposited in her boyfriend’s account. She is to be sentenced Feb. 1 by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.
