NIAGARA FALLS – Three dump trucks and a tow truck were heavily damaged by vandals who spray painted them, both inside and outside, broke windows and taillights, and poured salt or sugar into the gas tanks of all four vehicles.

The manager of Arthur Myles and Sons Towing, in the 1600 block of Ontario Avenue, told city police that vandals entered the lot sometime between 4 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday and vandalized the vehicles. Officers also noted that the all four vehicles were scratched by keys on both the passenger and driver sides.

Damages were not immediately determined, but estimated at well over $10,000.

The manager said he was not having any problems with anyone and does not know who could be responsible.
