Shop like a star
More than 55 local artisans and vendors will be on hand for the third annual “Shea’s Shopping Soiree” from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday on the Main Stage, Shea’s Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St.
Jewelry, purses, mugs, ornaments, wreaths and more will be available. Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 presale at www.ticketmaster.com or Shea’s Ticket Office. The 16th annual Women’s Gifts event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Asbury Hall at Babeville, 341 Delaware Ave.
What to find there: jewelry, small leather journals, ceramic sculpture, natural body products, chocolates, hand-painted T-shirts, pottery and more crafted by Western New York women artists. Celebrating cast iron art
To herald the history and aesthetics of cast iron art, Buffalo State College’s Fine Arts Department is hosting the Nor’easter Conference from Wednesday through Saturday.
