LOCKPORT – A former employee of the Rite Aid drugstore on Lincoln Avenue in the Town of Lockport pleaded guilty Friday to stealing $1,458 worth of cash and pills from the store between April and August of this year.

Jeannine M. LaPaglia, 45, of Lincoln Avenue, admitted to fourth-degree grand larceny and was scheduled for sentencing Jan. 24 by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.

Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said Lapaglia gave a statement to investigators in which she said she sold some of the stolen pills. The sentence will include full restitution, Farkas said.
