LOCKPORT – A Tuscarora Indian Reservation man, already facing a possible prison sentence for having a stolen snowmobile, pleaded guilty to two more charges Friday in Niagara County Court.
David Mount Pleasant, 29, of Mount Hope Road, admitted to third-degree auto stripping for his role in stealing a vehicle from in front of Foley’s Bar on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls on March 11, and to illegal possession of a vehicle identification number for having that auto part on Jan. 26.
He previously had pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property for having a snowmobile that had been stolen in Erie County. Police found it on his front lawn Feb. 16, 2011.
County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas set sentencing in all three cases for Dec. 13. Mount Pleasant must pay $2,500 restitution to the owner of the stolen car and testify against two co-defendants in that case.
