Two men were arrested late Wednesday on multiple charges in connection with the apparent theft of copper wiring from the Wonder Bread factory on Urban Street, according to Buffalo Police.
Jason L. Norris, 22, of Fulton Street, and James L. Sauer, 34, of Green Avenue, were charged with burglary, felony criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property, grand larceny and possession of burglar’s tools.
The men apparently entered the factory through a hole in the building. Once inside, they used tools to take six rolls of copper wiring. In the process, police said, the men caused more than $1,500 damage to walls, ceilings and fixtures inside the building.
The copper was recovered, police said.
