LOCKPORT – Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas revoked bail Monday for Miguel E. Febres, who is awaiting sentencing next week for dumping the body of a man who died of a drug overdose in his apartment.
Febres, 36, was arrested Thursday in his apartment on Zimmerman Street in North Tonawanda by county Drug Task Force agents who used a search warrant to grab 16 packets of heroin packaged for sale, a scale, packaging materials, a loaded .22 caliber handgun and $875 in cash.
Febres is to be sentenced Nov. 16 for tampering with physical evidence. He and two others pleaded guilty to hauling the body of David C. Brandl, 22, of Lockport, to Mayor’s Park in North Tonawanda. Brandl died of a combination of heroin and cocaine on the night of April 26-27 in Febres’ apartment.
