JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown teen is being sought by police in connection with several recent burglaries that police suspect he committed, authorities reported Friday.

Jamestown Police ask for the public’s assistance in locating Wayne B. Wright III, 19.

Wright is a suspect in a recent burglary in which a handgun was stolen from a residence as well as others in the city of Jamestown, police said.

He also is wanted by the Cattaraugus County sheriff’s office for a probation violation as well as a bench warrant for burglary.
