The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force said today it has taken a major Batavia cocaine dealer into custody.

Victor D. “Grimes” Guy, 25, was arrested on a county grand jury indictment charging him with criminal sale and criminal possession of cocaine, counts that carry a combined prison term of up to 50 years.

Guy, who is being held without bail, is accused of selling crack cocaine to an undercover agent from the task force, authorities said.

The arrest came after a six-month investigation by the task force, a detachment of officers from the Sheriff’s Office, and Batavia and Le Roy Village police departments.
