A Buffalo man was arrested Thursday and charged with distributing images of child pornography via the Internet.
Bradley Stone, 55, faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, or both, if he is convicted.
Undercover federal agents downloaded child pornography from files belonging to Stone that were being shared online, Assistant U.S. Attorney Fauzia K. Mattingly said. When approached by law enforcement, Stone admitted that he accessed the images, Mattingly said.
A detention hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Hugh B. Scott.
