NIAGARA FALLS – A landlord was accused of threatening a tenant with a gun during an argument over loud music at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of 22nd Street.
Romeo J. Scrivano, 23, of 22nd Street, was charged with second-degree menacing, city police said.
The woman tenant told police that Scrivano confronted her on the landing of the apartment building, they argued over the music being too loud, then Scrivano went back into the apartment, got a gun and threatened to kill her with it.
Scrivano was ordered to exit his apartment with his hands up, which he did, according to a police report, telling officers, “I can’t defend myself in my own house?”
A shotgun and two rifles were confiscated at the scene.
