A man wielding a razor knife was sitting in the back seat of a car in North Buffalo earlier this week when the woman owner got inside to take a drive, Buffalo police reported Wednesday.

The man stole $30 cash, a cellphone, house and car keys and personal papers from the woman after confronting her about 1 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Colvin Avenue with the knife, and choking and repeatedly punching her, police said.

Jonathan J. Trillizio, 24, of Laird Avenue, was arrested by Officers Dustin Johnson and Lance Woods at his home a short time later, police said, and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing, assault, menacing and criminal possession of stolen property.
