The University at Buffalo’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Advisory Council named Timothy J. Sopko a member for a two-year term beginning with the 2012-13 academic year. Sopko is general manager of Cobham’s Orchard Park facility. He is a graduate of UB’s engineering school who holds several patents.
