NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, Ont. – The driver suspected of killing a male cyclist on Raylor near Homer roads about 4:15 p.m. Monday was arrested later that night after an intense search by the Niagara Regional Police Service.

The bicyclist, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, police stopped a 1998 GMC Jimmy with damage in Niagara Falls and charged Ryan Logan, 25, of Niagara Falls, with failing to stop causing death. Authorities had been looking for a vehicle described by some witnesses as a light-colored GMC sport utility vehicle, possibly a Jimmy, that had sustained damage.
